On the subject of Meteors

It is once again August. The time to watch meteor showers. This was the first time I've actually seen one...
I saw one meteor by chance in October a few years ago, but that doesn't really count.

It was partly cloudy last night at 3am when I went outside to watch the meteor shower, so I had to keep switching my view to different gaps in the clouds.
The first few came quickly, although always in my peripheral vision. After that I got better at seeing them streak across the sky.
It's hard to believe that many of those meteors are smaller than a pea, and yet they shine so bright in their short-lived lives.

I was awestruck as I began to think over again how amazing God is, and the words from a creation museum program came to mind:
There are perhaps infinite stars, and yet at Creation, their making was recorded with a simple "...He made the stars also."
(Genesis 1:16)

And you are more important to God than all the stars in space.
Isn't that awesome to think about?

How can so many people see so many of God's wonderful creations and still not believe that He exists?
